Job interview presentation format

I need to make 2 presentations. One is technical, while the other is aimed at the layman. I included more text in the technical one to help explain the nitty gritty of the science. How do I know if I added too much text?

Even though you are presenting to a technical audience, you want to make sure that you have concise, clean bullet points. This means that you should have less text. You will do the majority of your explanation out loud. However, you should discuss the topics that you covered on the first draft of the slides and then move the additional text into the notes section once you have fully prepared the presentation.
