Rachelle was the first recruiter at GitHub and helped scale GitHub up from its early stages in 2013. Before GitHub, Rachelle ran university programs for Google recruiting and after GitHub, Rachelle went on a "tour of duty" recruiting technical talent for the U.S. Digital Service at The White House.
She uses her expertise and network in technical recruiting to help fellows find, network, and negotiate their ways into their dream positions.
Murat was Software Engineer at Microsoft for over 4 years building various platforms/technologies that changed the modern web such as Chakra, Typescript and Apache Cordova. After serving briefly on the Apache project management committee, Murat co-founded Codela, a venture-backed startup that restructured the way companies think about software engineering interviews.
Murat works closely with Pathrise fellows on topics ranging from software engineering, web development, and startups.
Dan was an early employee at the leading survey product named SurveyMonkey as a project manager. He managed internal and external research projects there, which led to one of SurveyMonkey's core products, SurveyMonkey Audience. Dan eventually joined Salesforce to manage their market and user research, where he spearheaded multiple strategic initiatives.
After Salesforce, he founded and operated two separate startups, leading product at each and gathering funding by top investors like 500 Startups. Now Dan advises at Pathrise, utilizing his diverse background to guide fellows in their own careers.
Brian was a senior software engineer for Zazzle, one of the largest product customization marketplaces in the world. There he led several features on the mobile team. Before Zazzle, Brian was a software engineer at CBS and founded an award-winning startup called Spondevu. Brian has gotten his students placed everywhere from Google to Facebook using his insider knowledge.
Now, Brian works directly with Pathrise fellows on technical interview preparation and how to find the best possible job in the field of software engineering.
Imani was a lead UX design instructor at General Assembly, where she delivered over 800 hours of in-classroom instruction and one-on-one mentoring. Before that, she was one of the first few designers at a growth-stage e-commerce and media startup called Darby Smart, where she led design on the iOS app and core website.
Drawing from all the portfolio reviews, designer case studies, and design projects that she's worked on and given out from both sides of the table, Imani has helped designers get jobs at companies like Apple, IBM and more.
Olga was a data scientist at Ebay, where she analyzed large amounts of data and built machine learning models to improve core business functions. She has a PhD in Economics where she specialized in Causal Inference and Quasi-Experimental Design. Before joining Pathrise, Olga received multiple job offers from companies like Uber and IBM.
Now, Olga helps our fellows land the next step in their data science career using her more than 12 years of experience in the field.
