The interview process for a software engineer can take from 2 weeks to 2 months.
Stage 1: Online assessments - personality, programming, and general logic
The personality test takes about 15 or 20 minutes to complete. The programming (PET) test measures cognitive aptitude. It includes 20 questions and is 45 minutes long. The last is a TET test which consists of 20 questions, each of which introduces a new concept of a (seemingly fictional) computer language and then asks questions about applying what one has learnt. The time for this is 35 minutes.
Stage 2: Onsite interview

- You are given a set of grammar rules and then asked the result of a code written using those grammar rules.

- Questions about data tables that just wouldn't/shouldn't be accepted at any company as a viable option to show information.
