What does Big Interview do?

Big Interview is an online program that trains job-seekers on interviewing best practices. Their system combines artificial intelligence software with an educational course, so users get a mix of hands-on and lecture learning. The program is completely self-paced and self-guided. Users learn through a mix of recorded video lessons, AI-based virtual practice sessions, and mock sessions.

The curriculum is split into 4 parts, which consist of about 39 recorded video lectures. Part 1 covers interview basics with 10 recorded videos. Students learn to analyze job listings, dress for meetings, and develop skills to help them get more interviews. The curriculum then teaches students what to expect when the session starts, how to calm shaky nerves, and how to utilize non-verbal communication to impress recruiters.

The second part teaches students a step-by-step guide to ace common questions. This 11-video lesson unit teaches students how to answer, “tell me about yourself”, how to answer, “what is your greatest weakness”, and many more infamous questions that come up in most sessions. Students also learn the best questions to ask their interviewers.

Part 3 focuses on behavioral interview skills. The 7 video lectures cover questions on teamwork, leadership, conflict, problem-solving, work ethic, and failure.

The final part gives students a playbook for common challenges. In 11 videos, students learn how to combat things like being a new graduate, transitioning from the military into a civilian career, interviewing with English as a second language, and much more.

Throughout the course, students participate in mock sessions as well. While these practice interviews are not live, the program’s AI system simulates the real experience. Their AI-based approach also allows for highly specific scenarios and types. Mock sessions can be chosen by industry, skill level, and background.

Who is Big Interview for?

Job seekers who want to sharpen their skills can benefit from Big Interview. The completely self-paced program could be a good fit for busy people with full-time commitments. Students seeking a self-guided program that is still interactive could be a great match for their unique AI approach to exercises and mock sessions.

The program is open to absolutely anyone who wants to improve their skills. No technical experience, education level, or specific skill set is required.

What does Big Interview cost? How much work is involved?

The flagship program costs $79 per month. Buyers also get a 30-day money back guarantee and can cancel anytime.

Ratings and reviews

Big Interview holds mostly positive reviews. On G2, one user described it as a “user-friendly product” with a “vast question library sorted by industry.” The student felt the curriculum was “quite relevant and current with today’s industry and social trends.” Another student liked that “there are a lot of resources provided to me, especially the virtual interview through which I can prepare my answers and they are recorded and I am given feedback.”

However, some users would have preferred more feedback. Although one user was impressed by the recorded lectures, they warned that the mock sessions “didn’t help much.” On the whole though, most users were satisfied with the relevant curriculum that included hands-on practice. Many top universities recommend the program for practice as well.

Big Interview is an online program that helps people prepare for interviews. While Big Interview teaches techniques to ace interviews, the course does not offer any job search support.
