What does Product Hall do?
Product Hall is a new online bootcamp that helps people launch careers as product managers. Their courses are flexible and self-paced. In addition, they include lots of hands-on project work and mentoring.
Their flagship product course lasts about 10 weeks with 60+ hours of content. Students participate in live interactive classes, hands-on projects that they can add to their portfolios, and speaking events from product managers at companies like Facebook, Disney, and Shopify. Plus, all lessons are recorded so students can catch up and review any material they missed.
The program includes 1-on-1 mentoring with the course’s lead instructor and creator, Quadri Oshibotu, who has 7+ years of product management experience and has led product management courses at the popular General Assembly bootcamp. Moreover, students get 1-on-1 mentoring both during and after the course, plus certificates and lifetime access to the alumni community.
The course teaches all the technical and professional skills students will need to become a product manager. For example the curriculum covers the product life cycle, customer development strategies, strategic thinking skills, product design, MVP creation, product delivery, basic software tools, and Agile methodologies. In the same vein, students work hands-on with popular product management tools and software. Then, they build their own products to present to their cohort in the final week of the course.
Finally, all students get job search support as well. The 9th week of the courses focuses on job search skills, teaching students how to find great product management job listings, write resumes, craft cover letters, build their personal brand, and ace PM job interviews. Further, graduates continue to get 1-on-1 support after graduation until they land a job.
Who is Product Hall for?
Product Hall is designed for people with little to no PM experience, current product managers, business managers, executive leaders, and even entrepreneurs. In addition, the program is especially helpful for people with full-time jobs who are seeking a flexible course. What does Product Hall cost? How much work is involved?
The flagship 10-week product management course costs $2,250 with flexible payment plans available. Their self-paced course only requires 1 live online 3 hour class per week, plus weekly assignments, readings, and community discussions.
While applicants are required to fill out a brief online form, there is no formal interview or placement test. Moreover, the program is very new, so applicants should be prepared for a more informal and personalized application process. While candidates should have a positive attitude and a passion to learn product management, no tech experience is required.

As a very new program, Product Hall does not have many reviews. However, the course’s supplementary product management book has 2,000+ downloads and a 4.5/5 star rating. The book was also among Product Hunt’s top 5 products of the day.
